Michelle Benoit Joins MAS Context Team

November 4, 2013

We are really excited to announce that Michelle Benoit is joining our small team as a contributing editor. Last year she was part of MAS Studio’s proposal to reactivate the Chicago Pedway, so it is great to work with her again, this time as part of MAS Context.

Michelle is a designer and researcher interested in exploring the intersections between architectural history and current architectural practice. Recent projects include working in rural Rwanda with MASS Design Group, and investigating urban redevelopment programs in Istanbul. She especially enjoys discovering the personal aspect of architecture, through documenting buildings and the people who inhabit them. You can learn more about her work from her website.

Welcome to the team Michelle!

Below are four images of her work and research in Rwanda and Turkey.
