Future Landmarks: Strategies for Cultural and Architectural Preservation
During this event, Elizabeth Blasius, Nathan Eddy, and Mark Pasnik each discussed the strategies they use to raise awareness, celebrate, and fight for significant structures of our built environment. Books, films, tours, writings and other initiatives have the potential to inform and change minds and policies. Whether with architectural or cultural significance (or both), these structures play an important role in the everyday life of the city and its residents.
This event is related to the digital screening of Battleship Berlin, a documentary by Nathan Eddy.
This event has been organized by MAS Context in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Chicago.
This event is a partner program of the 2021 Chicago Architecture Biennial.
