Architect Michel Rojkind talked about the recent work of his office, Rojkind Arquitectos, with MAS Context editor in chief Iker Gil. The conversation took place at Soho House Chicago.

During the conversation, Michel Rojkind shared key projects of the office and discussed how architecture can serve as a way to reconnect parts of the city or enhance human experience, how technology and architecture intermingle in unfamiliar ways, and how we can design for other things to happen.

Michel Rojkind

Michel Rojkind is the founding partner of Rojkind Arquitectos, a Mexico City-based architecture firm practicing globally and focusing on design, business tactics and experiential innovation. His work explores architectural solutions, social and urban strategies that positively impact society and the environment. Using design thinking his firm cuts across strategic fields looking to maximize project potential while maintaining attainability. Together with his multinational team he works hand in hand with clients and collaboratively with experts in different fields to attain the necessary knowledge, gain value and establish method in service of the project and its areas of influence. Michel Rojking has lectured in many places around the world and has been a visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania, SCI-Arc, IAAC Barcelona, Nottingham University, and in his native Mexico Universidad Iberoamericana, Universidad Anahuac, and UNAM.
