DAAM is an award-winning professional design firm founded on principles of collaboration and cross-disciplinary practice at the intersection of Design, Architecture, Art, and Making. Their mission is to advance creative thinking-and-doing in the built environment through a hands-on approach to building physical places and things. Founded in Chicago in 2016 and led by Elyse Agnello and Alex Shelly, their small—but mighty—team is committed to carefully listening, actively researching, and passionately working to realize new ideas of all kinds.

Founded by Ann Lui and Craig Reschke in 2015, Future Firm designs spaces for clients who are change-makers in their own communities. Their work spans diverse scales: from events to residential and commercial buildings to urban and territorial speculations. Future Firm also currently operates The Night Gallery, a nocturnal exhibition space on Chicago’s South Side, which features video and film works by artists and architects from sunset to sunrise.

Kwong Von Glinow is an architecture practice based in Chicago founded in 2017 by Lap Chi Kwong and Alison Von Glinow. The practice builds the thoroughly enjoyable from the slightly familiar. Their work translates forward-looking architectural concepts into designs with broad appeal. Taking an optimistic and explorative approach, Kwong Von Glinow focuses on creating innovative living environments, places for cultural engagement, urban public space, and contemporary workspaces. The office has delivered a wide range of projects, including single-family homes, multi-family residences, institutional spaces, and cultural and public environments. Kwong Von Glinow are recipients of the 2023 Rice Spotlight Award, the 2022 Architectural Record Design Vanguard, the 2018 Architectural League Prize of New York, and a Graham Foundation grant. The pair has served as visiting faculty at IIT, Princeton University, Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and most recently Rice University.
