This is our second grant by the Graham Foundation in support of MAS Context, which is truly an honor. Their previous grant has been instrumental to continue to develop MAS Context, so we are looking forward to improving with their new grant.

Thank you very much to the Graham Foundation for their support, and all of you contributing and reading MAS Context for making it happen.

Below is the official announcement:

The Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts is pleased to announce its 2013 Grants to Organizations. This year, over $448,000 has been awarded to 40 projects that demonstrate innovation and originality in approaches to architecture and its role in the arts, culture, and society. The awarded projects were selected after a competitive review of over 200 submissions from organizations around the world. Among the projects that the Graham Foundation grants will support are a publication on Chandigarh and Casablanca by the Canadian Centre for Architecture; a series of online articles in Places Journal on how world cities are grappling with the consequences of modern geopolitics; an exhibition on architect Lebbeus Wood organized by the Southern California Institute of Architecture; and a dedicated architecture and environment residency at Headlands Center for the Arts.
