Tour of Chatter: Architecture Talks Back

As part of Chicago Design Week, MAS Context editor in chief Iker Gil and Karen Kice, Neville Bryan Assistant Curator, Department of Architecture and Design at the Art Institute of Chicago will lead a tour of the exhibition Chatter: Architecture Talks Back on June 16.

The front gallery of Chatter: Architecture Talks Back, curated by Karen Kice, looks at the diverse contemporary methods and approaches wielded by five emerging architects: Bureau Spectacular, Erin Besler, Fake Industries Architectural Agonism, Formlessfinder, and John Szot Studio.

The second gallery, curated by Iker Gil, explores the productive ways in which architecture can be communicated, presenting projects that spark conversations about the field of architecture, our cities, and their citizens. It features projects by Ecosistema Urbano; over,under and pinkcomma; Mimi Zeiger and Neil Donnelly with the SVArts Design Writing and Research Summer Intensive; Koldo Lus Arana (Klaus); Project_ with Sarah Hirschman; 300.000km/s with Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona; Luis Urculo; and Christopher Baker.
