The exhibition explores historic and contemporary concepts for the design, structure, mechanization, and economics of multi-storied factories, and their relationship to the urban environment. The exhibition demonstrates how architectural and urban design issues addressing manufacturing in cities present an exciting design challenge for integrated systems and programs.

On Tuesday, February 5, curator Nina Rappaport will be part of a panel discussion with Mike Williams (General Manager of Economic Development & Culture for the City of Toronto) and Jason Rehel (Cultural Critic for the National Post). To RSVP for that panel, please visit the event page.

If you want to know more about the project, Nina Rappaport wrote an essay about her project in our Production issue.
