Abilio Guerra
About
Abilio Guerra is an architect graduated from the Universidade Católica de Campinas (1982), with a master’s degree and PhD from the Instituto de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas of Unicamp (1990, 2002). He is currently a professor on the faculty of architecture and urbanism of the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. He is the director (in collaboration with Silvana Romano Santos) of the publishing operation Romano Guerra Editora and the editor of the architecture website Vitruvius. He has curated the exhibition Arquitetura brasileira: viver na floresta (Instituto Tomie Ohtake, 2010) and the series of three exhibitions Território de contato (in collaboration with Marta Bogéa, Sesc Pompeia, 2014). He is the co-author (with Renato Anelli and Nelson Kon) of Rino Levi – arquitetura e cidade (Romano Guerra, 2001) and the author of O primitivismo em Mario de Andrade, Oswald de Andrade e Raul Bopp (Romano Guerra, 2010) and Arquitetura e natureza (Romano Guerra, 2017), as well as the editor of various publications.
