Brandon Biederman
About
Brandon Biederman is an Associate Principal at PORT, a Chicago- and Philadelphia-based public realm design practice. Over the past decade, he has managed and contributed to many of PORT’s urban corridor, park, and civic space projects, helping cities reimagine how public spaces can support community life and identity. Brandon’s work often navigates the intersection of design, infrastructure, and civic process—balancing the technical and political complexities that shape public projects. He holds master’s degrees in Architecture and Design Criticism from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. A Midwesterner through and through, Brandon has called Chicago home for nearly two decades, where he continues to explore how design can advance collective experiences of the city.
