Christian Dimmer

Christian Dimmer is assistant professor for urban design at the University of Tokyo. As an adjunct professor for urban studies he also teaches courses in Sustainable Urbanism, Planning Theory, Theories of Public Space, and Global Urbanism at Waseda University and Sophia University. Christian is a partner of the architectural practice Frontoffice Tokyo and co-founder of the civil society organization Tohoku Planning Forum that is mapping emergent social innovations and new urban commons.
