Dörte Kuhlmann

Dörte Kuhlmann is Professor in the Faculty of Architecture and Planning at the Technical University in Vienna, with a focus on architecture theory and history. She is the author of Gender Studies in Architecture: Space, Power, and Difference (2013), Emotion in Architecture (2011), and Lebendige Architektur: Metamorphosen des Organizismus (1998), and coeditor of Basic Design Methods (2017) and The Art of ReCreation: Sweden/Austria (2014). In 2023, she and Heimo Schimek designed the Austrian Pavilion at the International Book Fair in Leipzig, Germany.
