Emili Donato
About
Emili Donato is a Barcelona-based architect. He opened his studio in Ibiza in 1961 with Raimon Torres and Antoni Miró. In 1963 he moved to Barcelona, where he opened his own studio and developed an active professional, political, and cultural practice. Between 1969 and 1972, he was the director of Quaderns magazine. He has designed a wide range of projects, including the Casa Martín (1972–1974), urban planning and social housing in Baró de Viver (1983–1987), primary healthcare center in Sant Ildefons (1987–1992), and the residence for the elderly in La Teixonera (1988–1993).
