John Comazzi
About
John Comazzi is the Associate Dean of Academics and Associate Professor in the School of Architecture at the University of Virginia. In addition to his teaching and research, John has practiced design in the Washington DC area, Michigan, Minnesota, and Virginia, and he has directed numerous Design-Build projects with architecture and landscape students in at the University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, and the University of Virginia. His monograph on Balthazar Korab (Balthazar Korab: Architect of Photography, Princeton Architectural Press, 2012) was named one of nine "Best Architecture Books of 2012" by The Guardian UK, and one of twenty "Michigan Notable Books of 2013" by the State Library of Michigan. He is currently writing a book on the Miller House and Gardens in Columbus, Indiana.
