Laurens Bekemans

Laurens Bekemans is the cofounder (with Ken De Cooman, Nicolas Coeckelberghs, and Wes Degreef) of BC architects & studies & materials, a Brussels-based workers’ cooperative. Rather than relying on transcontinental supply chains and universally standardized building systems, BC architects advances bioregional modes of construction that draw on local material sources and cultures of building knowledge.
