Rogelio Cadena

Rogelio Cadena is a visiting assistant professor at IIT College of Architecture and cofounder of Resolver Studio. His work primarily focuses on the connection between architecture, community, and urbanism. Having received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami and a Master in Architecture and Urban Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Rogelio has developed an understanding that foregrounds architecture and urbanism as cultural production. He joined IIT in 2023 as a Jeanne and John Rowe Fellow where his work primarily focuses on communities surrounding the historic Chicago Park Boulevard System. Prior to joining IIT, Rogelio has taught at the University of Miami, Florida Atlantic University, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
