Rudolf Bergermann

Rudolf Bergermann is the cofounder and currently a consulting engineer at schlaich bergermann partner (sbp). In his more than sixty years as an engineer and partner, he has worked on many projects across the world: bridges such as the Second Hooghly River Bridge in Calcutta, the Ting Kau Bridge in Hong Kong, and the Khor al Batah road bridge in Oman; stadium roofs, such as the cable net construction of the Olympic Stadium in Munich, the membrane roof of the Gottlieb Daimler Stadium in Stuttgart (today the Mercedes-Benz Arena), and the roof of the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh;. and movable structures, like the roofs of the Roman Arena Nimes, the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, and the arcade court in the Vienna City Hall.
