Catherine Ledner
About
Catherine Ledner lives and works in Maine. She grew up in eccentric New Orleans surrounded by positive, hardworking people. Architect Albert Ledner is her father. Her mother was a stage actress and her grandmother was a legendary New Orleans baker. Being brought up by these three wonderful people taught her how to interact with and celebrate all different types of individuals. She graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 1984 with a degree in film. A few years later she decided to continue her education in order to pursue her passion of photography. She graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, in 1994 with a BFA in photography. During her long career since then she has worked for many major corporate clients including Apple, IBM, Microsoft, American Express, Mastercard, Visa, and Kodak. Editorial clients have included Dwell, New York Magazine, AARP, Time, Newsweek, and Travel and Leisure.
