About
Imu Chan is the principal of Imu Chan Architecture, an interdisciplinary design studio based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with a curated portfolio comprising personal sanctuaries, gathering places, and public art. His works are marked by their clarity of intent, poetic simplicity, and direct, emotional connections with their inhabitants. Imu believes design can change lives by creating meaningful experiences, which can often be achieved by humble means. He holds a Master of Architecture at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is currently practicing as a public art advisor, visual artist, and architect in Canada.
