Zach Mortice

Zach Mortice is an architectural journalist based in Chicago. He is interested in the adaptive reuse of post-industurial landscapes, the interaction of architecture with pop-culture, and above all, cities and urbanism. He is currently a contributing writer at Bloomberg CityLab and was the web editor for Landscape Architecture Magazine from September of 2016 to July of 2022. His work has appeared in Architect Magazine, Architectural Record, Metropolis, Landscape Architecture Magazine, Curbed, Dezeen, The Atlantic’s CityLab, and Places Journal. He is the editor of Midwest Architecture Journeys, published by Belt in 2019.
