Mondragón Cooperative Corporation is considered the most successful example of worker-owned enterprise in the world. Founded in the Basque Country of Spain, the MCC’s reach now extends across the globe. Architect Jacob Chartoff diagrams the cooperative that stands at the head of the business ranking in the Basque Country and seventh in Spain overall.

Jacob Chartoff is the campus Architect for Columbia College Chicago. Previously he worked at Gluck+, where he designed the tallest prefabricated building in New York City, and at Wheeler Kearns Architects in Chicago, where he redefined their graphic and digital identity.
