Film screening and book launch of photographer James Florio’s latest book Thirtysix Views of Inverted Portal. Designed by Anna Mort and Rick Valicenti, Thirtysix Views presents thirty-six views of Ensamble Studio’s Inverted Portal at Tippet Rise Art Center, Montana. The program will take place at Bestor Architecture Gallery (2030 Hyperion Ave, Los Angeles, California 90027).

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, MAS Context will organize the ninth edition of our Tracing / Traces event offering a behind-the-scenes look at selected items from the Art Institute of Chicago’s Ryerson & Burnham Art and Architecture Archives.

Exhibition
Common Chicago showcases a series of recently completed and newly commissioned projects for this exhibition by Chicago-based practices that envision a shared present and future. The exhibition will take place at the MAS Context Reading Room (1564 North Damen Avenue, Suite 204, Chicago, Illinois 60622).
The exhibition is presented within the context of SHIFT: Architecture in Times of Radical Change, the sixth edition of the Chicago Architecture Biennial.

Concéntrico: Urban Innovation Laboratory
MAS Context and the Instituto Cervantes of Chicago, in collaboration with Concéntrico, present the exhibition Concéntrico: Urban Innovation Laboratory. The exhibition will be on display from October 1 until November 19, 2025, at the Instituto Cervantes of Chicago (31 West Ohio Street, Chicago, IL 60654).
We are a platform that commissions and shares relevant ideas, proposals, and experiences that connect diverse disciplines and place. We want the work to respond to our current context while having a rigor and depth that makes it relevant through time and changing conditions.
